How does the Painted Rock Wine Club work?

There is one annual wine club shipment of six (6) bottles in the Fall.

The timing coincides with the release of our new vintage of red wines, giving you access to these new wines before they are released to the public.

In early September, we email the details of your wine club shipment along with tasting notes, the day your order will be charged to your card on file, and when your order will be shipped.

You will have the option to customize your wine club shipment upon receiving this email, before the date your card will be charged. 

There is no membership fee or signup fee, you will only be charged once per year, at the time of your fall wine club shipment.


Am I sent the most recent shipment upon sign up?

No.

Once you sign up you are free to place an order of any available wines and all the benefits of being a member will apply. You will receive your first official 6 bottle club shipment as outlined above.


What are the benefits of being a member?

How do I receive free shipping?

Any order of 12 bottles or more receives free shipping.

This discount will automatically be applied to all orders, including your wine club shipment (if customized to include 12 bottles or more), and any online orders placed throughout the year.

How are the orders shipped?

With ATS Healthcare for temperature-controlled delivery.

ATS does not have a pick-up option. You will receive a tracking number for your shipment via email once the order has been picked up by ATS. Address changes after the order has been placed will incur a $10 redirect fee. If you are not home during the delivery, ATS will leave a notification card on your door with a phone number to call to set up the next delivery attempt.

We recommend using a business address for delivery.


How do I customize my order?

Detailed instructions will be sent each August on how to customize the order through your member profile.

You are also able to customize your order by emailing Leigh at wineclub@paintedrock.ca. You will have one week (7 days)  to make any customizations and the final date to customize will be noted in this email.


Can I pick-up my order at the winery?

Yes.

Please log into your profile and select the ‘Pickup at Winery’ option under the ‘Ship To’ options. We will email you once your  orders are ready to be picked up. We can keep orders at the winery until October 31st and if you have not picked up the order by that date, it will be sent to the billing address on file.


What is the average cost of the shipment and how will I be charged?

The standard Iconic order is approximately $375 and the standard Skaha Six order is approximately $300, plus any applicable shipping charges.

The final cost depends on if you have made customizations to your order. You are only charged for the wines you select in your shipment. When you are customizing your order, the prices for each bottle will be listed for your reference. Your credit card on file will automatically be charged in mid-August and we will inform you of this date in early August.


When can I order Rosé and Chardonnay?

Our Rosé is released to wine club members in April and the Chardonnay in May.

You will receive an email prior to each release with the exact time the wine will be available on the website.


What are the membership requirements? 

One annual (once per year) shipment of six (6) bottles or more in the fall.

Other orders placed throughout the year do not count towards your membership requirement.
