Chef Meets BC Grape Vancouver

13th annual ChefmeetsBCGrape is Western Canada’s most exciting wine and culinary event—featuring the largest Grand Tasting of BC VQA Wines and a celebration of the best culinary talent in the Victoria and Vancouver food scenes. 

Award-winning chefs and BC winemakers will come together to bring a taste of BC Wine Country to each city.  More than 85 BC wineries will pour over 350 award-winning Wines of British Columbia at Vancouver's walk-around tasting featuring “pop ups” of the city’s hottest restaurants and chefs serving their signature dishes in small plate portions.  Painted Rock is thrilled to be paired with Chef Colin Burslem of the Fairmont Vancouver Airport.

Guests will sip and taste their way through the room, enjoying dishes created by chefs as a “perfect pairing” with a specifically chosen BC VQA wine, all while interacting with chefs and winemakers.

A panel of culinary and media judges along with guests, will vote on their favorite dish and pairing to determine the winner of the ChefmeetsBCGrape Challenge.  A ChefmeetsBCGrape Finale event in summer 2017 will bring the regional winning chefs and their creations to the Okanagan.
